Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda achieves NBA accreditation

 

(Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda)Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda is proud to announce that 3 Under Graduate (UG) Programs in Tier II; Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC), Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for the Academic Years 2022-23 to 2024-25, up to June 30, 2025 thus getting the courses recognized for quality education worldwide.

 

Accreditation signifies that the program outcomes of DBCE have met stringent quality standards. It is an indicator to aspiring students of the institute’s level of commitment to excellence. An NBA accredited program uses Outcome Based Education (OBE) to measure students on 3 criteria – knowledge, skills and attitude. The facilities available at DBCE ensure holistic development of the students while also preparing them to be professionally equipped to solve real world problems. One of the biggest benefits of this NBA accreditation is that more companies will find it advantageous to take part in the institute’s placement programs. This global recognition will also benefit the students in achieving their goals towards higher education.

 

As of this date, DBCE stands as the Only Institute with NBA Accredited ETC and Civil Engineering programs in the state of Goa. Students can definitely be assured of the fact that DBCE is the centre of excellence for professional education.

 

The NBA accreditation process was monitored by Principal, Dr. Neena S. Panandikar and guided by Director, Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz. The Institute NBA Coordinators, Dr. Varsha Turkar, Mr.Ajit Salunke along with the staff of DBCE need a special mention for the meticulous preparation, planning and execution.

 

Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar expressed that it is her dream come true and is indeed a proud moment as the institute completes ten years. She gives the credit to the management, NBA coordinators, IQAC team members, staff , students, alumni, parents and all the stakeholders for hard work put that has led to this success.
