Psychaura 2026, the first-ever psychology event organised by the Department of B.A. Psychology, DBC Panjim, unfolded on 27th January 2026 in a vibrant confluence of intellect, creativity, and youthful enthusiasm. Anchored in the timely theme “Mental Health and Digital Balance,” the event opened with an inaugural ceremony graced by Dr. Amit Dias, the Chief Guest for the event, who emphasised the importance of embracing technological advancement while consciously maintaining balance to safeguard mental well-being, which set a thoughtful yet energetic tone for the day ahead.
The programme offered a rich tapestry of on-stage and off-stage competitions that seamlessly blended academic inquiry with artistic expression. Events such as Psyche in Motion (Dance), Songs of Serenity (Duet Singing), Shades Within (Fashion Show), and Mind Quest (Quiz) shared space with reflective and innovative platforms like Unfiltered Emotions (Poetry), Synaptech (Model Making), NeuroLens (Reel Making), Beyond the Frame (Photography), Canvas of Consciousness (Flag Painting), and The Mind Maze (Treasure Hunt). Each segment drew enthusiastic participation, showcasing originality, insight, and powerful self-expression, while fostering a lively and celebratory atmosphere throughout the campus.

Carmel College, Nuvem secured the third place, with the Post Graduate Department of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, taking away the second position, while St. Xavier’s College, Under Graduate Department, emerged as the PSYCHAURA 2026 Champions.
