Don Bosco Technical College Cebu Launches Scitech Center.

 

(Don Bosco Technical College, Cebu) – The Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC)- Cebu is picking up pace on the 21st-Century learning of its students. Even as it continues to recover from the damage wrought by Typhoon Odette, the school takes the bold move of bouncing back better and bolder, confident of the support of the Salesian Family and its Alumni.

In an unveiling ceremony led by DBTC President and Rector Rev. Fr. Randolph Figuracion, SDB recently, the construction of a Science and Technology (SciTech) Center, equipped with advanced science, technology, and innovation (STI) resources, was revealed. The project concept and perspectives was presented by Rev. Fr. Fidel Ma. Orendain, Provincial Superior of the Salesians of Don Bosco.

 

The Center will showcase state-of-the-art civil, electrical and electronics engineering technologies that will benefit the institution’s students in the junior and senior high school, college, and technical-vocational departments and will also be open to partner institutions.

 

The SciTech Center is funded by the United States Agency for International Development – American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (USAID-ASHA). Construction is set to begin in February 2023.
