Don Bosco College, Tura, hosted a vibrant Food Fest and Musical Fiesta on 25 February, organized by the Bakery and Confectionery Vocational Training Course students. Led by Dr. Aksana Neah Ch Marak, the event featured 12 student groups preparing a variety of local, national, and international (Bhutan) dishes.

 

 

(Don Bosco College Tura, India) – The Salesian institution, Don Bosco College, Tura, hosted a vibrant Food Fest and Musical Fiesta on 25 February, organized by the Bakery and Confectionery Vocational Training Course students. Led by Dr. Aksana Neah Ch Marak, the event featured 12 student groups preparing a variety of local, national, and international (Bhutan) dishes.

 

The festivities kicked off with a grand opening by the Principal, welcoming visitors from within and beyond the college. Attendees enjoyed a range of culinary delights, from regional specialties to international treats.

 

The event was complemented by live musical performances, adding to the lively atmosphere, bonded the student and created entrepreneurial spirit.

 

This initiative, part of the NEP 2020 curriculum, was supported by the Community College of Home Science, Tura. It showcased the students’ practical skills and creativity, emphasizing the importance of vocational training in holistic education.
