(Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda) – The installation ceremony of the CESA (Civil Engineering Student Association) council for the batch of 2022-23 took place on September 9, 2022 at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda Goa.
Two presentations were held on the occasion, first was by Engineer Ritesh Singh on the theme: Edging towards a connected future. He introduced solutions to challenges at construction sites through construction chemicals. He introduced the existing technologies like: self-healing concrete, concrete roads which can charge electric vehicles, robotic construction/3D printing, structural strengthening, etc.
Later, Engineer Atul Vaidya, a waterproofing expert, explained about waterproofing techniques and methods. requirements for waterproofing systems, physical parameters, surface preparation and application.
Rohan Veigas introduced the Chief Guest, Engineer Ritesh Singh, national business development manager, Guest of Honor, Dr Yogini Deshpande, renuka consultancy, technical director O P jindal university, DBCE College Director, Father Kinley D’cruz, Principal, Dr Neena Panandikar, Registrar, Dr Kala Nayak and Head Of Department of Civil engineering, Dr Shwetha Prasanna.
Shruti Jambhale introduced the newly elected CESA Council members to the gathering. Outgoing Chairman, Gul Ahmed Sheikh and Dr Shwetha Prasanna also spoke on the occasion.
