(Istituto Universitario Salesiano de Venezia, Italia) – An International Symposium on Philosophy of Education (SIFE) was organised on 4-5 September on the theme “Education, Ecology, Life. Reflections and educational proposals for an integral ecology’. It was held at the Istituto Universitario Salesiano Venezia (IUSVE). The event brought together 150 scholars and scholars from 27 Italian and foreign universities on Italian soil and 23 foreign universities from 9 different countries in Europe and South America to discuss the educational challenges of our time. The symposium hosts over 80 scientific communications from Italian and international universities.
The proceedings were coordinated by José Antonio Ibáñez-Martín (Universidad Complutense de Madrid – Universidad Internacional de La Rioja) with the support of a scientific committee of 50 university lecturers and a local organising committee of 12 IUSVE lecturers, assistants and doctoral students. The sessions were held in person and virtually, allowing the participation of scholars from all over the world.
