Our Mission
As Catholic Higher Education Institutions, IUS´s pursue to “assists in the protection and advancement of human dignity and of a cultural heritage through research, teaching and various services offered to the local, national and international communities” (John Paul II, Apostolic Constitution, On Catholic Universities, Ex Corde Ecclesiae, 1990). As Salesians, they have the specific mission of “promoting the integral development of the youth by the assimilation and critical lecture of the culture and through education in the faith, in order to the Christian transformation of society” (Society of Saint Francis of Sales, Regulations, 13).
