(Universidade Católica de Brasília, Brasília) – From August 28 to 30, the Catholic University of Brasília hosted the 10th Meeting of Salesian Institutions of Higher Education. The event aimed to train managers and coordinators of the IUS America Pastoral Network, with hybrid participation from representatives of Salesian Institutions from Latin America, including countries such as Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and El Salvador.
On Wednesday, the 28th, the meeting was opened by the UCB’s Pastoral Team, followed by a welcome from the university’s Rector, Carlos Longo; the President of the UBEC Group Board of Directors, Father Geraldo Adair da Silva, SDB; the Coordinator of the Pastoral Area, Prof. Genésio Zeferino; the Coordinator of IUS America Pastoral, Father José Marioni; and the General Coordinator of Salesian Universities, Father Oscar Lozano, who came from Rome.
