(Université Don Bosco Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo) – The UDBL (Université Don Bosco Lubumbashi) organized its first academic degree graduation ceremony on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at its Karavia campus, which had been transformed for the occasion. Around a hundred graduates from the undergraduate and master’s programs in the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Management and Financial Engineering joyfully received their diplomas from this new Salesian university.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of academic authorities, faculty members, administrative staff, distinguished guests, and the graduates’ families, friends, and onlookers. The event was presided over by the Vice-Provincial of the Salesians of AFC, who represented the Provincial Father and the President of the Board of Directors. Creativity and ambition were the key messages from the Vice-Provincial to the first cohort of UDBL graduates.
The festive atmosphere marked the joyous end of UDBL’s first academic year, which was full of challenges.
