On 20 November 2025, the Don Bosco Higher Institute (ISDB) in Lomé hosted the celebration of the 20th edition of World Philosophy Day. This Day was co-organised with the Togolese Philosophy Society (SoToPhie) and the Department of Philosophy at the University of Lomé. The theme chosen by the organisers this year is: "Philosophy and AI: Contributing to the debate on AI at the service of humanity". At the sidelines of Rozgar Mela 2.0, a group of first-year students from Salesian College Siliguri drew significant attention with a live demonstration of their heart attack prediction software. This project has quickly become a symbol of youthful innovation and purpose-driven technology. The student-built prototype, developed entirely from scratch by Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) students from the tribal community in collaboration with members of the Radio Club, analyzes health data to predict potential risks of cardiac arrest. Remarkably, the software represents the team’s major product achievement within their very first semester, highlighting both their technical promise and their commitment to addressing real-world health challenges.
