
(Don Bosco College Tura, Meghalaya) – Two outstanding students from the Higher Secondary Section of Don Bosco College, Tura, were felicitated by the Government of Meghalaya for their exceptional performance in the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE).
Mr Dechro M. Marak, who emerged as the State Topper, and Ms Aime Azora G. Momin, who secured the 10th rank in the State, were among the meritorious students honoured at a special felicitation programme held in Shillong. The students were accompanied by Bro. Godfrey Ekka, SDB, Vice Principal of the institution.
The ceremony recognised high-achieving students from the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams who excelled in the recently concluded HSSLC examinations. The event celebrated academic excellence and acknowledged the hard work, discipline, and perseverance demonstrated by the students throughout their academic journey.
Congratulating the achievers, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma shared a message on his X account, praising the students for bringing pride to their families, schools, and the State. “Glad to felicitate toppers from the Arts, Science and Commerce streams of the recently conducted State HSSLC examinations. Their hard work, discipline, and perseverance have truly paid off, and they have made their families, schools, and our State proud,” the Chief Minister stated.
He further encouraged the students to build on their success and continue striving for excellence in the years ahead. “May this success inspire them to dream bigger, work harder, and continue striving for excellence in the years ahead. Wishing them the very best for their future journeys,” he added.
The remarkable achievements of Dechro M. Marak and Aime Azora G. Momin have brought honour to Don Bosco College, Tura, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic education. Their success stands as a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and determination to excel.
