(Papua New Guinea) – Rev. Fr. George Thadathil, General Coordinator of the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education, recently visited Don Bosco Simbu Technical College and Don Bosco Technological Institute, strengthening ties with the Salesian academic communities in Papua New Guinea.

 

At Don Bosco Simbu Technical College, Fr. George’s visit was a moment of joy and encouragement for the Educative Pastoral Community. Inspired by the institution’s motto, “Training for Life,” he reaffirmed the shared mission of accompanying young people toward integral development and social transformation in the spirit of Don Bosco.

 

At Don Bosco Technological Institute – East Boroko, Fr. George was warmly welcomed by Rector Fr. Ariel Macatangay and the academic community. During his meetings with staff and students, he encouraged the institute to continue strengthening its academic standards as it works toward its future development as a university.

 

The visits were marked by a spirit of unity and shared vision, highlighting the commitment of Salesian Higher Education to quality formation and the growth of young people across the region.
