(Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda) – Saiesh Karwarker, batch of 2020, civil engineering and Sibga Shaikh, batch of 2020, electronics and telecommunication engineering from Don Bosco College of Engineering secured first place in their respective disciplines at Goa University at the Convocation Ceremony held on August 26, 2022.
The Governor of Goa, Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai awarded the students with gold medals for securing first rank in academics. Saiesh Karwarker was awarded with the Sumant D. Wagh Memorial Prize and J. Inacio Gracias Gold Medal while Sibga Shaikh was awarded with Late Sushilabai Vasant Khandeparkar Gold Medal.
Karwarker and Shaikh graduated from Don Bosco College of Engineering in June 2020. Saiesh Karwarker was working in Worley India Pvt Ltd., while Sibga Shaikh is currently working as a Senior Analyst at Capgemini, Pune. Both the awardees have thanked their parents, teachers, friends and family for their support and motivation.
