(Salesian College Sonada Kolkata) – Salesian College Sonada has come up with a novel idea of introducing coaching classes in preparation for competitive examinations, for students of BA General from the academic year 2020-21.

The nationwide Civil Services Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission [UPSC] for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service [IFS], and Indian Police Service [IPS]. The West Bengal Civil Service [WBCS], has competitive examinations thrice a year.
Staff Selection Commission [SSC] – Combined Graduate Level [CGL] Examination, referred to as SSC-CGL is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.
Besides regular courses in BA General, discipline-specific courses in English, Sociology, and Political Science as well as compulsory language courses in Nepali, English, Hindi, and Bengali are being offered.
Other career-oriented programs include Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses like English/Nepali, as well as Physical Education and Career Oriented Programme
