(UniSALESIANO, Araçatuba) – UniSALESIANO is at the Expô Rodeio Show Araçatuba for the third consecutive year, bringing innovation, technology and the Salesian charism to the general public. The institution’s pavilion stood out for its presentation of cutting-edge technologies and attracted young people, adults and children interested in learning more about the future of education and the training opportunities that UniSALESIANO offers.
According to the Vice-Rector for Teaching, Research and Higher Education, André Ornellas, the presence of UniSALESIANO at the Expo is a way of being with young people, following the teaching of Don Bosco; he also stressed that UniSALESIANO seeks to showcase its values, innovation and projects, offering inspiration to young people to access higher education and pursue a successful career. The great attraction of the first evening of 12 September was the “robot dog”, which enchanted the audience with its advanced technology.
The “robot dog – GO 2”, a technological innovation acquired by UniSALESIANO, is equipped with artificial intelligence and a “LIDAR 4D” navigation system. In addition, UniSALESIANO presented the simulators for the health courses, with medical students explaining the operation of the equipment, and the mechanical bull for the amusement of the public.
“The robot dog is a tool that awakens young people’s interest in technological advancement, demonstrating that education is the foundation of any social evolution. We want them to see that, through study and dedication, they can achieve great things,” he said.

With a 4D LIDAR navigation system and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, the “robot dog – GO 2” represents much more than a technological curiosity. It symbolizes the union between education and innovation, as dreamed of by Dom Bosco, founder of the Salesian Congregation. For UniSALESIANO, the presence of the robot at events such as the Expo Rodeio Show Araçatuba is a way of showing young people that they can dream big and achieve their life projects.
The Rector of UniSALESIANO, Father Paulo Vendrame, SDB, emphasized that Dom Bosco always emphasized the importance of being at the forefront of progress. “As Salesians, we must make the most modern and inspiring technologies available to education. The ‘robot dog’ is an example of how we are applying this vision today,” he explained.
In addition to technology, UniSALESIANO also promotes fundamental values such as citizenship and honesty. “Our mission is to train good professionals, as well as good Christians and honest citizens,” he concluded.
