(Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià, Barcelona) – Emma Gómez and Pau Marset, students from the Salesian University School of Sarrià (EUSS), recently spoke on Radio Sant Boi before embarking on their adventure at UniRaid Marruecos 2025. Appearing on the Espacio de la Ciencia segment of the show La República Santboiana, the two students shared insights about the rally’s objectives and their preparation journey.

During the interview, the students—who make up the ‘Golf Riders’ team—revealed that their journey began over a year ago: “It’s like an iceberg; most of the work happens behind the scenes.” One of their key challenges has been securing sponsors, which helped them gather the 40 kg of essential aid supplies required to participate in the rally.

The students expressed their gratitude to their fellow university peers and faculty members for their support in preparing the car and answering technical questions. They also shared that they trained in Cerdanya to get hands-on experience driving in challenging terrains—essential preparation for the demanding routes of Morocco.
