(Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati) – Assam Don Bosco University’s Azara Campus hosted Prajyukttam–Mercemoc–Arthavardhana 2026 from September 28 to 30, drawing more than 500 students from 15 institutions across Assam for the three-day annual techno-commerce-management festival.


The festival brought together students from diverse academic backgrounds to celebrate technology, commerce, management, creativity, and innovation. Participants came from institutions including Gauhati University, University of Science and Technology Meghalaya, B. Borooah College, North Lakhimpur University, Assam Engineering College, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Royal Global University, Pragjyotish College and Jorhat Engineering College, among others.

 
 
The ADBU campus became a hub of innovation, with practical demonstrations, competitions, and exhibitions highlighting solutions to real-world challenges. The activities allowed students to translate classroom learning into practical applications while exploring new approaches to technology, commerce and management.
 
 
Various co-curricular clubs, under faculty guidance, presented miniature artefacts and conducted department-specific activities designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and healthy competition among participants.
 
 
Among the major attractions were the Robotics and Mechanical Clubs, which drew considerable interest through their Robo Soccer and Robo Race competitions. The events challenged participants to apply theoretical concepts in practical situations while developing problem-solving abilities, creativity and teamwork.
 
 
The three-day festival was coordinated through the combined efforts of the university administration, faculty, staff, student coordinators, club members, volunteers and participating institutions. Dr Jyoti Barman and Ms Rubi Haloi, faculty members, led the overall coordination of the programme, with support from the Faculty Club advisers.
