(Don Bosco Technical College, Cebu) – The academic and non-academic staff of the Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTC) in Cebu gathered for their annual retreat on 20 and 21 May at the Don Bosco Retreat House in Lawaan.
The retreat, held under the theme: ‘Walking with the Risen Jesus: from presence to mission’, was led by Fr Rooney John G. Undar, SDB, Youth Ministry Delegate for the Salesian Province of the Southern Philippines. During these days,participants were encouraged to reflect on their personal and community journey of faith.
The retreat emphasised the importance of deep listening, shared reflection and renewed commitment to one’s vocation.
Fr Rooney’s insights and spiritual guidance led the group to a deeper understanding of presence, understood not only as physical presence but as true accompaniment of others on their journey through life, especially young people.
