Students of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) have develop a sanitizing Robot

 

(Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda) – The final year Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering students at Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE) Goa , have successfully developed a sanitizing Robot prototype, which works remotely and can sanitize closed offices, open markets, public areas, hospitals and other places without the intervention of any frontline workers.

 

The team members, Vivek Khadilkar, Saeel Kamat and Drasti Naik have developed and tested the project under the guidance of Asst. Professors at DBCE, Prof. Mohini Naik Gadekar and Prof. Michelle Viegas. They attribute their success to the guidance and support of DBCE Director Father Kinley D’Cruz, Principal Dr Neena Panandikar and HOD Dr Varsha Turkar.

 

Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant, appreciated the students for the innovative work and encouraged them to work further for the benefit of the society. The students also received appreciation and encouragement from the Health Minister of Goa, Shri. Vishwajeet Rane.
