Literary Festival at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, India

 

(Sacred Heart College, Tirupathur) The Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, hosted a Literary Festival in collaboration with the District Administration of Tirupattur. It was presided over by Amar Kushwaha, IAS, District Collector of Tirupattur, and Jeyamohan, an Indian author, who gave the inaugural talk and declared open the Festival.

 

The Festival has 60 book shops installed on the campus with 1.5 lakhs of books for exhibition and sale. The Festival aims to create interest in reading among the people, especially the teachers and the students. Every day, three current writers were invited to talk to the students about different aspects and concerns on the literary style of writing. Over fifty thousand students and others are expected to benefit from the Literary Festival.
