The Salesian Polytechnic College of Technology completes the body of its self-driving vehicle

 

(Salesian Polytechnic, Machida Tokyo) – The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Salesian Polytechnic College of Technology has released the 4th video of its self-driving vehicle project “Development of autonomous driving technology aiming at autonomous driving level 3 “.

 

The development of the “autonomous driving cart” by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering that started in 2020 that recently underwent development and design of the Chassis, has finally been assembled and completed the body. During its last phase, the kart was tested out on automatic stop and automatic steering technologies using carts and scale models. Research continues toward the full-scale implementation of autonomous driving level 3.
